Montagne Jeunesse Review

I received a Montagne Jeunesse face mask to review via Influenster's Holiday VoxBox.
I received the Dead Sea Mud Pac, which is great for my oily skin. It is gluten free, no added parabens, and they never, ever test on animals, which I love!

These mud pacs come in perfectly portioned, one use trial pacs for around $1, so you can test out several to find which one is best for you without much expense! Much, much cheaper than almost all, if not all, face masks on the market & definitely cheaper than going to the spa!

I put mine on and then curled up on the couch & watched some tv for about 15 minutes then rinsed it off. My skin was left feeling clean & soft. The only thing that I did not care for about this particular mask was the scent (it had kelp & seaweed in it). I think the Strawberry Souffle one would smell amazing, though, so that one is next on my list to try!

Pick up a couple of these next time you're out & have your own spa night at home! Let me know which ones you try & what you think!

NYC New York Color Liquid Lipshine Review

I received NYC New York Color's Liquir Lipshine in Nude York City to review as part of Influenster's Holiday VoxBox.
The lip gloss has a nice mocha-like scent & has a beautiful, glossy, shimmery nude color. It glides on easily & is longlasting. It is a bit sticky, but because of that, it does last a little longer than some others.

This lip gloss is currently available in 10 different shades and retails for $2.49 (great price!!) and is available at Walmart, Target, Rite Aid, CVS, Family Dollar, Duane Reade, Kmart, HEB, & others.

I would definitely recommend picking up a few of these wonderful lip glosses. They are incredibly affordable & are absolutely wonderful! Let me know what you think of them!

Head over to New York Color to view all of the available shades for this product & their other products!

Broadway ImPRESS Press-On Manicure

I received the Broadway imPRESS Press-On Manicure in Chic Mystique to review as part of the Influenster Holiday VoxBox.

Packaging/Application: The packaging for these is incredibly cute (it looks like a nail polish bottle). It was easy to find nails that fit my natural nails, and took all of 10 minutes to find them, clean off my natural nails, & apply the ImPRESS Press-On Manicure. Incredibly quick & easy!!

Durability: I'm terribly rough on my nails, so I put these to the test. Unfortunately, I popped two off within the first 48 hours but was able to find replacements for them in the leftovers. Those two may have been a fluke, or I may have just hit them on something a bit too hard because the other ones were on there pretty strong & I didn't have issues with. The only other issue I had was that if I ran my hand through my hair, a few strands would get caught up underneath the nail & I would have to unwrap it, but that's just a personal issue.

Design: I received the Chic Mystique, a pale pink with white floral design. These definitely weren't my style, but with 36 different styles to choose from, there is definitely something out there for everyone.

The Verdict: I liked them, they were easy to apply & fit well, but I would only use these for special events, not everyday wear. I was very aware they were on my nails & with them getting caught in my hair & such, it just isn't for me. I will definitely be wearing them for holidays such as New Year's Eve, though in the fun, pretty patterns!

These are available in 36 different colors & patterns, have no drying time, are easily removed, & can last up to a week! Colors retail for $5.99 and patterns retail at $7.99 and are available at CVS, Rite-Aid, Walgreens, Wal-Mart, & other retailers. For a complete list, go here

Truly Awesome Homestyle Chocolate Chip Cookie Review

Another campaign that I was invited to as a BzzAgent was The Truly Awesome homestyle chocolate chip cookie campaign. I received two boxes of chocolate chip cookies, and y family and I tested these out over Thanksgiving. They were definitely a hit! While I do not believe they taste at all homemade, they are very good (much along the lines of Chips Ahoy). There were plenty of chocolate chips/chunks in there, so you never had a bite that wasn't chocolatey. If you and your family like Chips Ahoy chocolate chip cookies, I highly recommend these, as I actually prefer the Truly Awesome cookies to those now. If you're wondering where you can grab these, they are available exclusively at Kroger, Fred Meyer, and Ralphs stores (the Kroger family). Eat up & enjoy!

Disclosure: I received this at no cost by being a BzzAgent. No compensation was received. The opinions expressed are my own.

Maybelline Baby Lips & Great Lash Lots of Lashes Review!

For those of you who don't know, I am a member of BzzAgent, a word-of-mouth marketing company that sends out free or highly discounted products and services to its members to test out, review, and "buzz" about online and to those they know. I have been a BzzAgent for nearly two years & have received some great campaigns & highly recommend. You can go here to become a member!

One of the latest campaigns I have received is the Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes mascara and the Maybelline Baby Lips campaign. I was sent five tubes of the mascara and five different flavors of the Baby Lips lip balm to review.

Between the two products, the Baby Lips is definitely my favorite, and I consider myself to be both a mascara and lip balm connoisseur. All of the lip balms are SPF 20, so your lips will be protected, and they offer a variety of colors and flavors to choose from. Pictured above (from left to right) Quenched, Peppermint, Cherry Me, Pink Punch, Peach Kiss. Quenched has no color, it just gives your lips a nice shine. It also has an interesting scent, one that I consider to smell much like Fruit Loops. Peppermint has the same appearance as Quenched, it just has a peppermint scent. Cherry Me (the orange tube) is my absolute favorite of the group! It gives your lips a nice pink/red tint, depending on how much/how heavily you apply and has a lovely cherry scent. Pink Punch smells like fruit punch Kool-Aid. While I enjoy the smell of it, it is highly pigmented and unless put on very lightly, gives you Barbie pink lips, a look that I absolutely cannot pull off. The Peach Kiss (purple tube) smells the worst of all of them, in my opinion. It doesn't have a nice peach scent like you'd expect, but instead, it smells like lipstick. The color was also my least favorite, a sheer nude. All that being said, I always have the Quenched and Cherry Me in my purse and will be repurchasing these again as soon as I run out.

The Great Lash Lots of Lashes mascara that was sent to me was in Very Black. It worked well on my lashes, separating them and giving lots of length and volume. The "grabber" brush takes some getting used to due to its tapered shape, but once you learn how to maneuver it, it works great, especially for getting in the corners and lower lashes. While this is not my favorite mascara (that award goes to the oh-so-sadly discontinued Maybelline Pulse Perfection mascara), it is definitely one worth trying.

Check these products out & let me know how you like them!
